Live here for what matters there. Not the money you are earning here, not the clothes you are wearing, not the size of the house or the number of friends you have on Facebook, none of these matters there. People matter! It matters if you carried God’s love among people and if you were the scent of life to life. ” Run for your life from all this. Pursue a righteous life—a life of wonder, faith, love, steadiness, courtesy. Run hard and fast in the faith. Seize the eternal life, the life you were called to…’‘ (1 Timothy 6). May our lives echo in eternity.
People and people…running, life fragments, people worried about the present, others enjoying the present, others feeding themselves from past memories. The same Time is weighting each one of us. Too much of going nowhere, too much dust collected in our fists.
Live there where you are: with the heart, thoughts, deeds, with your everything…live at the fullest and holy. And especially with the end perspective that will lead you to Him.
If the end matters to us why not ‘now’ would matter too? We read about the realities and wishes of those on the death’s bed and some truths are repetead on and on: ‘I wish I would have shown more love to my dear ones, to have spent more time with them, to have treasured relationships more then material things.’ At the end we say that these are what truly matter. But why only at the end of our walk in this life? Live your life have the end in sight and then all these will matter day by day and you wll have lived without regrets. ”I’m about to die, my life an offering on God’s altar. This is the only race worth running. I’ve run hard right to the finish, believed all the way. All that’s left now is the shouting—God’s applause! ” (2Timothy 4)
